Newborn baby photography sessions – What to expect:
I absolutely love newborn photography sessions!
You can book your newborn photography session after your 20 week scan. I use your due date to book you in, to make sure I have availability for a session once you baby is here. I then just ask that you get in touch within 48 hours of baby being born and we can get a set date and time booked in for your session!
The best time to photograph your baby between 6 and 10 days old, to achieve those typical newborn poses, but don’t worry if your baby is a little older! I have PLENTY of props, accessories and little outfits to choose from for your session and we can go through all of this when you arrive at the studio.
Newborn photography sessions are booked in for up to three hours. This means there’s plenty of time for changing, feeding, cuddles and settling baby into those gorgeous poses.

What is included in your newborn baby photography session:
- Newborn photo shoot of up to 3 hours (includes sibling & family shots)
- Full use of the studio
- Use of all our props and accessories
- Professional editing of your photographs
- Family friendly consultation with the photographer to view your photographs
- A complimentary 10×8″ mounted print or high resolution digital image

After your newborn photography session
Once your newborn photography session is over, its takes around a week for me to go through all the images from the session and edit them, ready for viewing. I’ll then get in touch to arrange a date for your consultation. The consultation is just a relaxed viewing session, booked in for around an hour, where we go through all of the photographs from your session. This is when you can pick your favourite image for your free mounted photograph that comes with your session. If you would like to purchase anything further, this is when you can ask any questions, view the products you are interested in and place your order. We have a large range of different products and options for image purchase to make sure there’s something for everyone, with a minimum spend of £195.
